Survey results and Shrimp Survey Bulletin 17-02 are available for Shrimp Management Area (SMA) FR (i.e. PFMA Areas 28 and 29). Copies of the bulletin are available on request from Dan Clark 250-756-7327 or Dan.Clark@dfo-mpo.gc.ca. The estimated total biomass for pink shrimp in SMA FR is in the Critical Zone so the shrimp trawl fishery in Areas 28 and 29 will remain closed.
