FN0640-COMMERCIAL - Salmon: 2017/2018 Area E Gill Net Licence Issuance Information

2017/2018 Salmon by Gill Net licence issuance for Area E is now available
through the National Online Licensing System (NOLS)

Fish harvesters will use the National Online Licensing System (NOLS) to go
online to view, pay for and print their commercial fishing licences, conditions
of licence, and/or receipts.

Upon the Department receiving the required payment, applicable documentation
and information, the licence will be issued and notification will be sent via
email to advise licence holders/vessel owners that a change has been made to
the licence holder's online account. The licence documents, conditions of
licence and receipt will be available to be printed at that time.

Please note that it is crucial to renew commercial Salmon Gillnet licenses and
pay the licence renewal fee on an annual basis to retain the privilege to be
issued the licence in the future, whether fishing takes place or not.

A reminder that all commercial Salmon Gillnet licence eligibilities must be
renewed by March 31, 2018, otherwise the eligibility for the licence will
cease.

It is a condition of licence that the licence document and conditions of
licence are on-board while actively harvesting.

For communal commercial licences, even though the fees are $0.00, clients are
required to add a checkmark beside the licence(s) to renew, and
click "Checkout" through NOLS.

For vessel designation, licence eligibility holders may submit the required
information via the 'Submit a Request' menu selection within the National
Online Licensing System (NOLS). Full instructions are available at:
