FN0518-SANITARY - Area 14 - Emergency Closure for bivalve shellfish southeast of Fanny Bay on Ships Peninsula, Baynes Sound Subarea 14-8, which includes BC Land Registry Shellfish Aquaculture Tenure # 278757, is now revoked.


Environment and Climate Change Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency 
have advised that the emergency closure for bivalve shellfish in Area 14 which 
included BC Aquaculture Tenure Land File # 278757, enacted on April 11, 2017 is 
no longer necessary.  Therefore, emergency closure 14.xx for bivalve shellfish, 
as described below, is now revoked.

Emergency Closure Area 14.xx - Aquaculture Lease Land File # 278757

The waters and intertidal foreshore of BC Land Registry aquaculture tenure # 
278757, Subarea 14-8, Southeast of Fanny Bay on Ships peninsula, Baynes Sound,
 
(a) inside a line drawn from a point on land at 49°30.13' north latitude and 
124°47.96' west longitude, thence northeasterly to a point in water at 49°
30.18' north latitude and 124°47.90'west longitude, thence southeasterly to a 
point in water at 49°30.04 north latitude and 124°47.54' west longitude, thence 
southwesterly to a point on land at 49°29.93' north latitude and 124°47.64' 
west longitude, thence northwesterly back to the point of commencement.

And

(b) inside a line drawn from a point on land at 49°30.28' north latitude and 
124°47.96' west longitude, thence northwesterly to a point in water at 49°
30.28' north latitude and 124°48.58'west longitude, thence north to a point in 
water at 49°30.38 north latitude and 124°48.57' west longitude, thence 
southeasterly to a point on land at 49°30.33' north latitude and 124°48.48' 
west longitude, thence southwesterly back to the point of commencement.
