FN0446-SANITARY - Area 14 - Emergency Closure for Bivalve Shellfish off the West coast of Denman Island in Baynes Sound, Subarea 14-15 which includes BC Land Registry Shellfish Aquaculture Tenure #1400036, is now revoked.
Environment and Climate Change Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency have advised that the emergency closure in Area 14 which included BC Aquaculture Tenure Land File # 1400036, enacted on March 9, 2017 is no longer necessary. Therefore, emergency closure 14.vv for bivalve shellfish, as described below, is now revoked. Emergency Closure Area 14.vv - Aquaculture Lease Land File # 1400036 The waters and intertidal foreshore of BC Land Registry aquaculture tenure # 1400036, Subarea 14-15, off the West coast of Denman Island in Baynes Sound, inside a line drawn from a point in water at 49°33.65' north latitude and 124° 50.87' west longitude, thence northeasterly to a point in water at 49°33.66' north latitude and 124°50.76'west longitude, thence southeasterly to 49°33.47 north latitude and 124°50.75' west longitude, thence due west to 49°33.47' north latitude and 124°50.85' west longitude, thence back to the point of commencement.
