Central Coast Bulletin #29 April 03, 2017: The Proud Canadian worked through the through the Reid Passage and Powell Anchorage area, and back into Seaforth Channel yesterday before heading into Spiller Channel. They were able to conduct another test set near Neekas this morning. They will be continuing in the area today. The gill net charter Star King continued their sounding program in Seaforth Channel and in to Spiller Channel yesterday. They will be continuing in Spiller Channel today. The Lady Raven will begin their charter today in the Boddy/Joassa area. The Vector was in Kitasu Bay yesterday, and will be working in the Seaforth Channel area today. The next spawn fight is scheduled for early this week, weather dependant. The dive charters will be starting later this week. The heaviest concentration of predators and sounded fish are in lower Spiller Channel and outer Seaforth Channel. A large biomass of fish has moved into lower Spiller, with reports of fish close to the beach along much of the shoreline south of Mosquito Bay.
