Central Coast Bulletin #26 March 31, 2017: The Proud Canadian worked through the Kildidt Sound area before moving into the Mustang Bay area, and then towards Spiller Channel via Gunboat Passage. The Franciscan No.1 worked the outer Seaforth and Lower Spiller channel areas. They have completed their charter. The gill net charter Three Girls 2 concluded their sounding program in in Powell Anchorage and Moss Passage, before moving back into outer Seaforth Channel. The gill net charter Star King continued their sounding program in inner Seaforth Channel, working through Gunboat Passage and back into Spiller Channel. They will be working in the Spiller Channel area today. The spawn fight scheduled for today has been postponed until tomorrow, April 1, due to weather. No new test sets have been completed. The spawn observed in Clifford Bay ended on the same day it was observed. The spawn in Kitasu Bay continues. The heaviest concentration of predators and sounded fish are in lower Spiller Channel and outer Seaforth Channel.
