Central Coast Bulletin #20 March 25, 2017: The Proud Canadian worked through the Cultus Sound area and moved into the Kildidt Sound area. They were unable to find a suitable biomass to sample. They plan to move into the Nalau area today before heading northward back into Area 7. The gill net charter Three Girls 2 continued their sounding program in the Spiller Channel yesterday before moving into the Powell Anchorage area. Today they will be working through the Boddy/Joassa and Thompson Bay area. The gill net charter Star King began their sounding program today, and will be in the Troup Passage area before moving into Spiller Channel. The CCGS Vector was in the Kitasu Bay area yesterday, and will be relocating into the East Higgins/Lower Mathieson area today. The next spawn flight will be early next week. No spawn has been reported or observed in the area.
