The overall quota for the 2017 Central Coast roe herring fishery is 215 short 
tons.

The 2017 roe quota of 215 shorts tons will be allocated to the 227 roe herring 
seine(HS and FHS)licences that selected either Prince Rupert or Strait of 
Georgia roe herring seine fisheries. This is equal to 0.4405286 percentage (%) 
share of the 215 short ton quota or 0.947136 tons per seine licence. 

The quota is 0 short tons for the 2017 roe herring gill net (HG and FHG) 
licences. There will be no roe herring gill net fishery in the Central Coast in 
2017.

Participation and pool quota allocation for the 2017 roe herring seine fishery 
in Central Coast will be based on the pool structure established for the PRD 
and SOG roe herring seine fisheries. However, the roe herring seine fishery in 
Central Coast will operate as a single industry pool for the purposes of the 
fishery. Existing pool captains or a designate will work with the fishery 
manager to facilitate the single pool structure.
