Seine Fishery Closing: 

Fishing for roe herring by Category H licensed vessels by means of purse seine 
is closed from 18:40 hours, March 23, 2017 in Pacific Fishery Management Area 
5.  The quota has been achieved. 

Areas and Subareas are as described in the Pacific Fishery Management Area 
Regulations

Fishers are reminded to not disturb any FSC harvesting that may be taking place 
in the area.

All herring leaving the fishing grounds are to be reported to the designated 
management platform prior to leaving the grounds.  Pacific Region Close Time 
Variation Order # 2017-PR-001-SN is hereby revoked. See Variation Order #2017-
PR-002-SN issued by the Fishery Manager on the Vessel "Franciscan No.1" in 
Kitkatla Inlet, on March 23, 2017.
