Central Coast Bulletin #18 March 23, 2017: The Proud Canadian remained in the Spiller Channel area yesterday, then moved through Lower Return Channel and then into Bella Bella. They then went through Raymond Passage, then into Boddy/Joassa where they performed a successful set on a 600 ton school. They will be heading into the Thompson Bay area today. The gill net charter Three Girls 2 continued their sounding program into the Gunboat Pass area before returning to the Bella Bella, and then moved on to the Boddy/Joassa area. This morning they report over 500 tons of fish in small schools that may be moving to the beach at Idol Point. They will be heading into Spiller Channel today. The CCGS Vector is in the Kitasu Bay area today, and will remain in the area for the next few days. The next flight will be Friday or the weekend, weather dependant. No spawn has been reported or observed in the area.
