Fishery Notice

Gill Net Opening: 

Fishing for roe herring by Category H licensed vessels by means of gill net 
shall be permitted from 1500 hours, March 17, 2017 until further notice in the 
following portions of Area 4:

Subareas: 4-5, 4-6, 4-7, 4-8, 4-9, and 4-14

Areas and Subareas are as described in the Pacific Fishery Management Area 
Regulations

Fishers are reminded to not disturb any FSC harvesting that may be taking place 
in the area.

All herring leaving the fishing grounds are to be reported to the designated 
management platform prior to leaving the grounds.

Pursuant to Pacific Region Close Time Variation Order # 2017-HBB-1 issued on 
the Vessel "Nita Maria" in Big Bay, on March 17, 2017.
