Area 4 - Big Bay

Due to strong southeast gale force winds the Charter vessel "Nita Maria" will 
be proceeding to the grounds to initiate stock assessment and testing 
operations on March 15th, 2017.

DFO wishes to remind fishermen that the earliest Big Bay herring gill net 
fishery on record occurred on March 18/19.
