Spawn Summary The last spawn flight was conducted on March 1. The flight covered Barkley Sound, Clayoquot Sound and Nootka Sound. The flight was cut short at Tahsis Narrows due to poor visibility. No spawn was observed during this spawn flight. The next scheduled spawn overflight is March 9. Observed Spawns Area 23 Barkley Sound Feb 13 - Salmon Beach and Forbes island approximately 3/4 miles. Area 24 Clayoquot Sound Jan 30 - Hesquiat Harbour approximately 3.25 miles Feb 23 - Hesquiat Harbour approximately 1.0 mile Area 25 Esperanza Inlet Feb 23 - Port Langford, approximately 1/4 mile Test Fishing/Sampling Summary Area 23 The test fishing vessel F/V Proud Canadian has been in Area 23 since March 8.
