Central Coast Bulletin #06
March 07, 2017: 

The charter vessel Franciscan No. 1 continued back into Area 7 and sounded in 
the East Higgins Passage area. They found a body of fish, but were unable to 
perform a test set.  They are planning to continue in the area today, and plan 
to conduct a test set this evening.

Definitions:
Scratches - Herring present in small schools 1 to 2 tons
Skimmer - Herring spread out near the surface, difficult to quantify
Fish on bottom (FOB) - Herring too close to the bottom to quantify
NFF - No Fish Found
Washed out spawn - Spawn that is coming to an end
Miles - Means nautical miles for this bulletin
