Fishery Notice

A) 2015 SALMON GILLNET AREA F LICENSING:
---------------------------------------

2015 conditions of licence are now available for Salmon Gillnet Area F licences.

Salmon vessel owners/licence eligibility holders may now log into their account 
in the new National Online Licensing System (NOLS) to access their 2015 salmon 
licences.

1) If you have already paid for and received your 2015 salmon Area F licence in 
your NOLS account, a replacement licence and the conditions of licence will 
also be available in your NOLS account today.

2) If you have not yet paid your 2015 salmon Area F licence fee, please log 
into your NOLS account to pay the applicable fee and access your licence and 
conditions of licence.

All fish harvesters are now required to pay their 2015 salmon licence fees 
through NOLS.

Salmon conditions of licence for some areas are not yet finalized for 2015 
[Areas A, B, E, H]. Separate fishery notices will advise periodically 
throughout the season as soon as salmon conditions of licence are available for 
specific gear-types and areas; you will also be notified by e-mail to print the 
conditions of licence when these are available in your NOLS account. Until that 
time, salmon licences will receive conditions of licence that allow for the 
harvest of Schedule II species, reallocation of dogfish and lingcod quota, and 
transport operations.

Please note, although Licence fees for ALL salmon fisheries may now be paid, 
the licences do not authorize harvesting for salmon until salmon conditions of 
licence are made available to you and are attached to the licence.

C) LICENSING SERVICE CHANGES - NOLS REGISTRATIONS:
--------------------------------------------------

1) In-person counter service at Pacific Fishery Licence Units was suspended on 
September 1, 2013. Access to licensing services is now available via the new 
National Online Licensing System (NOLS). All fish harvesters are required to 
pay their 2015 salmon licence fees through NOLS. 

2) Commercial licence renewal applications will not be mailed. Communal 
commercial licence eligibility holders must use the NOLS 'Submit Request' 
feature in their NOLS accounts to designate a vessel; a NOLS information sheet 
has been sent by e-mail to commercial licence eligibility holders/contacts, or 
you may request one directly from us.
