Further to FN 0113, nominations for the Commercial Salmon Advisory Board (CSAB) Salmon Area Harvest Committee are now completed. Below is the final list with nominations received up to the deadline of February 20th, 2015. The proposed timeline for the election process: 1) Election ballots will be mailed out to licence holders and an announcement will be made via Fisheries Notice by March 16, 2015. 2) The deadline for submission of election ballots will be April 10, 2015. 3) It is anticipated that the release of election results will be in early May 2015. As the election will be for the entire committee, half of the committee positions will receive 2 year terms based on the number of votes received; remaining vacancies for the bottom half of the committee will receive 1 year terms. The process for the one and two year terms for the area harvest committees by acclamation is under discussion by the CSAB. The next election process is anticipated for Sept 2016.
