Fishery Notice

The 2018-2021 Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP) for the Pacific 
Sardine has been approved by the Regional Director General, Pacific. The draft 
IFMP was made available on May 9, 2018 for a 30 day review period (FN0374).

As outlined in the IFMP, no commercial catch of Pacific Sardine is permitted in 
the 2018 fishing season. During the 2018-2021 period covered by the IFMP 
amendments may be issued with updated stock assessment information and total 
allowable catch.
