TOTAL STRAIT OF GEORGIA: Assessment underway

The seine fishery opened in Lower Baynes Sound this morning at 0745 for six 
setting vessels. PFMAs 14-5, 14-8 and 14-15 were opened until further notice. 
Fish tested this morning have been between 9% to 12%, no sets have been 
released. The test boat Denman Isle is assessing Area 15 today, weather 
permitting. 

Fishsafe advisors were in Deep Bay today to assist fisherman in conducting 
drills at 11:00 hours. The vessel hosting the drills was the Pacifica.
