Issuance of 2016 Fisher Registration Cards (FRC) is available through the
National Online Licensing System (NOLS) at
https://fishing-peche.dfo-mpo.gc.ca

All Fishers are reminded (as per FN0468 on May 27) that personal service at DFO
field office service counters for Fish Harvester's Registration Cards (FRCs)
has ceased. Any persons requesting FRC services at DFO field offices will be
given information to obtain their FRC online via the National Online Licensing
System (NOLS) and online self-registration.

All fish harvesters are required to pay their 2016 FRC licence fees through the
NOLS.

Once the payment has been received through the NOLS, your transaction request
will be processed. You will then be notified by e-mail, once the transaction
has been completed, that the licence and payment receipt is available to be
printed by logging into the NOLS.

FRCs must be carried by the licence holder whenever he/or she is engaged in
commercial fishing and must be produced on demand.

All Fishers are reminded to plan ahead and allow up to 5 business days to
obtain an FRC prior to participating in any commercial fishery.

If you do not have a FIN (Fisher Identification Number) please go to
https://fishing-peche.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/, select English, 'Continue to GCKey'
and 'Sign Up' to self-register and create your User ID, Password.
Please 'Submit a Request' for a FRC. As required please email and request full
instructions on how to self-register.

If you have an existing NOLS account and do not see the FRC Fee of $60 to pay
in the 'Pay Fees' menu please 'Submit a Request' to have the FRC made available
in your NOLS account.

REMINDER: You will need your User ID and Password to access your NOLS account.

If you have forgotten your User ID and/or Password, client support is available
