Fishery Notice

The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) is seeking comments on the draft 
2016 Crab Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP).  To obtain a copy for 
review you can contact Shaun Davies at 250 627-3477 or shaun.davies@dfo-
mpo.gc.ca or try downloading one using the attached link:

Please review the draft management plan and forward your comments and/or 
questions to Shaun Davies (Crab Resource Manager) in Prince Rupert (250) 627-

A letter including 2016 harvester objectives and updates with also be provided 
shortly to Crab Sectoral participants and First Nations, Recreational, and 
Commercial representatives.

Please note that the 2016 crab fishery is scheduled to commence January 1st.  
In order to consider your advice for the management plan, your comments must be 
received prior to November 22, 2015.
