FN0911-COMMERCIAL - Invertebrates: Green Sea Urchin by Dive - 2015 Licence Issuance Information

2015/2016 Green Sea Urchin by Dive licence issuance will begin and licence
renewal fees will be available for payment commencing at 0800 hours Friday,
August 21, 2015 through the National Online Licensing System (NOLS).

Licence eligibility holders/fish harvesters will use the National Online
Licensing System (NOLS) to go online to view, designate vessel, pay for and
print their commercial fishing licences, licence conditions, and/or receipts.

A reminder that all licence renewal fee payments must be made through the NOLS.
For communal commercial licences, even though the licence renewal fee is $0.00,
licence eligibility holders are required to add a checkmark beside the licence
(s) to renew through NOLS, prior to clicking on "Checkout".

Prior to licence issuance, the designated vessel details must be submitted via
the 'Submit a Request' menu selection within the NOLS. Full instructions can be
found at:
http://www.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/fm-gp/sdc-cps/products-produits/request-demande-
eng.htm

To avoid delays, please ensure the payment and designated vessel information is
submitted to DFO at the same time.

Upon the Department receiving the required payment, and vessel designation, the
licence will be issued and notification will be sent via email to advise vessel
owners that a change has been made to the licence holder's online account. The
licence documents, licence conditions and receipt will then be available to be
printed at that time.

Please note that it is crucial that the green sea urchin licence is renewed and
the licence renewal fee paid on an annual basis to retain the privilege to be
issued the licence in the future, whether fishing takes place or not. Should
the licence not be renewed by August 31st annually, the eligibility for this
licence will cease.

Client support will be available via e-mail (fishing-peche@dfo-mpo.gc.ca) or
toll-free telephone (1-877-535-7307).
