Fishery Notice

The quotas and the results of the area selection for the 2014/2015 Food and 
Bait Herring Fishery which took place from 08:30 hours November 5 to 23:59 
hours November 6 are shown below. 

PRINCE RUPERT:

Quota: 500 short tons. 10 licences selected this area. Each licence may be 
issued for 10.0000% of the quota (each licence 50 short tons). 


STRAIT OF GEORGIA:
-----------------
Quota: 8,500 short tons. 242 licences remain in this area. Each licence may be 
issued for 0.4132% of the quota (each licence 35.123 short tons).  

As per FN1212 issued November 5, 2014, the fishery will open at 19:00 hours 
November 7, 2014. There will be an additional Fishery Notice issued later today 
to announce licence issuance. 

Licence holders and vessel masters are advised to review the licence conditions 
that are issued with respect to the ZM license. At-sea observer coverage is 
mandatory for this fishery. Contact JO Thomas and Associates Ltd., the industry 
selected service provider, at 1-866-930-4000 in order to make arrangements for 
this coverage.
