FN0068-General Information - Inquiries on Radiation Contamination of Fish in Pacific Ocean

Fisheries and Oceans Canada has received inquiries from the public and fishers 
regarding concerns of potential radiation contamination of fish in Pacific 
Ocean after the March 11, 2011 earthquake in Japan.  

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is the lead Federal government department 
responsible for radiation testing in fish. The Canadian Food Inspection
